J and K Steakhouse
was named after the
owners, Jarod and Kathy Zelaya. Both Jarod
and Kathy had always dreamt of opening up
their own restaurant. And in May of 2008
their dream came true...! They
launched their first restaurant in Dover,
New Jersey and quickly won the admiration of
many satisfied customers. Since then,
J and K Steakhouse has grown to include
additional beautiful restaurants in both
Morristown and also in Montclair. From day
one, J and K's philosophy was to only serve
the best and freshest food available and
many took notice...
Jarod, a studied Chef at the Institute of
Culinary Education in New York City and an
accomplished restaurant supplier executive
had the vision of bringing a New York Style
Steakhouse to Dover, New Jersey. " I
wanted to bring to Dover, a taste of New
York City", Jarod explains. "
We only use the freshest and highest
quality products in our restaurant",
Kathy added. The chef and kitchen staff are
also very experienced and have worked at
some of the top steakhouses in NYC.
"Now people don't have to go to New York
City to get a prime cut dry-aged steak or
top shelf fish dinner, you can get it here
at J and K's", concludes Jarod.
